Nice quiet camp site for our first time in a RV. I recommend bringing your own firewood. It costs $15.00 a barrel (barely full). We bought two but the wood don't burn very well at all. We were looking forward to a roaring fire to de-stress. Other than that, reasonable pricing and nice spot. Staff are very accommodating and nice, love the chickens by the gate.

If you're travelling with a bigger group you can always ask and have a huge bonfire in the meadow away from the campground.

We tried everything from camping out, staying in the cottages and yurts - each experience one of a kind.

Spent a week in the log cabine. Looked more isolated then it was. I find the neighbours to be quite close this being said we enjoyed our stay. Access to the river nice grounds, beach, and dog friendly. Nice relaxing environment.

Update: We met the owner today. He helped us to get a roaring fire and it is still going 5 hours later. Very nice guy!

You must go for the walks in the forest so relaxing you can pick mushrooms or berries.

Thank you very much to Andrew and his family for a wonderful (last minute) long weekend getaway! It was our very first experience in our new-to-us camper, and everything went smoothly! Spots were a bit tight but we were alerted that it was going to be a busy weekend. Beautiful surroundings, friendly faces, and nice/clean facilities...what more could you ask for. Thanks again! From the Haggett family.

We stayed in the log cabin and it was perfect for the two of us. Very cute and cozy. The memory foam mattress was wonderful and we loved the sleeping loft. The campground is immaculately kept with an excellent boat launch and docks. Andrew, the owner, was great and couldn't be nicer. The river is a real treasure with access to two beautiful lakes.
